Papua New Guinea Remote Worksite: Our Prefabricated Foldable Container House, On-Site Assembly
Views:0
This case documents the on-site assembly of Jinzhong foldable container houses at a remote worksite in Papua New Guinea. The local site is muddy and inaccessible for heavy construction machinery. This foldable cabin can be unfolded and set up manually with low construction requirements, perfectly matching local site conditions. Built with lightweight modular foldable structure, the main body is fully prefabricated in our factory. After delivery, only a few workers can complete the unfolding and assembly, greatly shortening the construction time. The wall panels have excellent waterproof and moisture-proof performance to cope with the local rainy, hot and humid tropical climate and resist rainwater damage. When folded, it is compact for ocean shipping and short-distance inland transport, saving logistics costs. Water and electric connectors are pre-reserved inside, so the cabin is ready for use once assembled. It is suitable for temporary mining dormitories, field work camps and accommodation units. Multiple cabins can be joined together for extended layout. The units can be disassembled, relocated and reused many times. Jinzhong can optimize anti-corrosion and waterproof configurations for humid tropical environments and provide on-site installation technical guidance. It is an ideal temporary building solution for tropical regions in Oceania.
